At Linguatime we provide English language programmes based on the requirements of the student.  Our teachers’ focus is to help you use English effectively; therefore whether you wish to learn English for your own personal development or to improve your career prospects, we have a course for you.

Deciding on the right course depends on your knowledge of English.  To ensure that you gain the most out of your studies we assess you prior to arrival to ensure that the course to be undertaken is at the correct level:

Two weeks prior to arrival, you will sit for an online placement test. Instructions about the test are provided with the booking confirmation.

Our Academic Team will carry out a short interview to confirm the level attained during the on-line placement test.  This is held on your first day at the school, prior to the start of the course.

At Linguatime we offer five General English course levels - Elementary up to Advanced.  It takes a minimum of 75 classroom hours to complete a level and move up to the next one however this may vary according to ability.  A progress test would need to be taken in order to move up to a higher level.

Our teachers use various teaching techniques and materials to ensure that classes are always animated and interesting, however all General English Courses follow a standard course book that can be obtained from the school.

Long-term students may book monthly tutorials to discuss progress, giving the student the opportunity of discussing strengths whilst obtaining recommendations for further improvement.
